Cris Cyborg has been at the top of Mixed Martial Arts for nearly 20 years. After winning the first Featherweight world championship in the sport by defeating Gina Carano 15 years ago, Cris Cyborg has gone on to become the sport of MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion capturing belts with Strikeforce, Invicta FC, UFC, and Bellator MMA Championship Belts. Cyborg will be competing for a record 5th World Championship belt when she fights Oct. 19th in Saudia Arabia as part of the PFL MMA PFL Super Fight PPV event being broadcasted with ESPN + and DAZN MMA. Cyborg will be facing PFL Champion Larissa Pacheco who has won her last 10 fights, 7 of which by 1st round KO and is the betting favorite being nearly 10 years younger than Cris Cyborg.
Ahead of the Super fight Cyborg has assembled an all star camp of training partners which already included BJJ Black Belt Philipe Furao, former Collegiate wrestler Thomas Pho, and newly crowned LFA Champion Lerryan Douglas, Cris Cyborg has now welcomed 2 All Star training partners in Wrestling World Medalist Forrest Molinari and 2024 ADCC Champion Rafaela Guedes into her MMA training camp. Both Molinari and Guedes are interested in transitioning to MMA and are training striking, grappling, bjj, wrestling with Cris Cyborg ahead of her Professional Fighters League debut in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
Cyborg who has won 7 MMA fights since her 2018 loss to Amanda Nunes has also complied a 4-0 record competing in Boxing, most recently scoring a 2nd round TKO victory over Aria Wild as the Co Main event of Crypto Fight Night in London England. a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Cobrinha, Cris Cyborg is an ADCC medalist and a former 2x IBJJ World Champion competing in the Kimono. Cris Cyborg also fought Muay Thai legend Jorina Baars for the Lion Fight Muay Thai World Championship making her one of the most complete MMA fighters in the world in terms of individual sports she has competed at.
