Ana Julaton first made her name inside the boxing ring where she became the first woman WBO Super Bantamweight and IBA Superbantamweight Champion. The Hurricane as she was nicknamed won a world title after just 5 professional fights, being the quickest professional boxer to ever capture a world title when she won the IBA Super Bantamweight title.
In 2008 when the Beijing Olympics didn’t include boxing for women Ana was ranked #2 in the world as an amateur boxer, at this point she went pro originally training with Freddie Roach and then eventually Nonito Donaire Sr. the father of Nonito Donaire Jr.

As a professional in MMA Julaton had mixed results. Winning a fight in her One FC debut against Aya-Saeid Saber Ana got an opportunity to compete in the Philippines. With a 2-2 record for One FC Ana Julton signed to Bellator MMA where she lost two decisions, the last being female boxer Heather Hardy.
While there were plans for a Heather Hardy Vs. Ana Julton rematch inside of the boxing ring, it now appears that fans will no longer be given the chance at that bout. Ending her professional record at 14-4-1 in boxing and 2-4 in MMA Ana Julton will be remembered as a pioneering female combat sports.
