Jimi Manuwa is a knock out artist, and one of the UFC’s top stars, but after losing to Volkan Oezedemir he was needing to get a win against Jan Blachowicz another scrappy striker in the exciting light heavyweight division of the UFC.
The fight between the two was a rematch from 2015 where Jimi Manuwa was able to get a win. The rematch had a lot of importance on the division and rankings. As the co main event of UFC Fight Night 127 Blachowicz and Manuwa had a primetime slot to showcase their exciting fighting style inside the o2 arena in London, and they did not disappoint!
The fight started off with a cracker from Blachowicz which forced Manuwa to the canvas. Manuwa was able to make it through the early aggression but never got ahead in the striking department. In round two Blachowicz started to bloody Manuwa with the third round being more of the same. The final result was Jan blachowicz beating Jimi Manuwa via a decision, but he had to survive this massive kick to the head by Jimi Manuwa to do so!
