UFC Vet Melvin Guillard in Jail, asks for fans help to make bareknuckle boxing fight

Melvin Guillard is a veteran fighter with over 50 professional documented MMA fights on his record. While Guillard has lost his last 6 fights, the former prized fighter had started his professional career a perfect 11-0 with 7 of those first 11 fights coming by way of KO.

A member of the Ultimate Fighter season 2 Guillard defeated Marcus Davis by way of TKO in his UFC debut and had a total of 22 fights with the promotion before being released following a loss to Michael Johnson at uFC FN 37 back in 2014.  Guillard went on to defeat Gesias Cavalcante at WSOF 11 which was his last professional MMA win.

Guillard who is scheduled to fight tonight for the lightweight Rogue One Elite Bare Knuckle boxing world title posted this message on his Facebook page just hours ago:

“He folks, this is a friend of Melvins. He got into some trouble and needs $700 more for bond. He has a fight Friday and needs the help to get out. If you’re willing to help please leave a message and I will give you the info. Thanks”
