Siyar Bahadurzada of Afghanistan has been in the fight game for a long time! while only 34 years old this welterweight has made his 30th professional fight at UFC FN 128 against Luan Chagas. The bout which took place tonight at UFC Fight Night 128 was to put Siyar against a tough up and coming fighter looking to use the profile of Siyar to establish himself in the promotion.
Luan Chagas entered into the fight with a 1-1-1 record in the UFC after 3 fights. The one DRAW came against Sergio Moraes, while he suffered a loss to Erick Silva at UFC FN 95 which was headlined by Cris Cyborg Vs. Lina Lansburg. Heading into this fight luan Chagas was looking to build momentum off his win over Judo Jim Wallhead at UFC 212.
Luan Chagas from Curitiba was making his first fight in the USA after picking up a win in Brazil. Siyar started aggressive and put Chagas on his back early, however the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt was able to use the turtle guard to revers position and secure a body triangle on the back of Siyar. Round two played out mostly on the feet as Siyar got the win from going to the body with a front kick and then putting him out with an uppercut to finish off Chagas.
