While Bellator MMA’s first return to San Diego since Bellator 300 is less than 2 weeks away, the promotion has announced that the fight between Raufeon Stots Vs Marcos Breno and the bout between Grant Neal Vs Khalid Murtazaliev are now off the Sept 7th fight card.
At the time there has been no update as to why either fight has been removed, however Stots posted online that his bout has already been rescheduled and assured fans that it is a ‘better opportunity’. With PFL having a PPV Oct. 19th many fans are thinking that the bout could end up in Saudi Arabia.
Stots last beat Danny Sabatello and is 8-1 since joining Bellator MMA. Breno last suffered a 2nd round submission loss to Sabatello at Bellator 294 in 2023. Cyborg who lobbied for a chance to compete in San Diego will be fighting Larissa Pacheco Oct. 19th as the Co Main Event of PFL’s return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Brace for Impact
