
While Cris Cyborg was scheduled to be in Washington DC for a media day surrounding her upcoming superfight with Larissa Pacheco until a personal matter forced her from being able to attend, the professional fighters league hosted a premier media day ahead of PFL 9 which determined the next round of the playoffs.
Brendan Loughnane defeated Kai Kamaka III by split decision while Magomed Umalatov kept his unbeated record against Neiman Gracie, Timur Khizriev captured a split decision over Gabriel Braga, Shamil Musaev earnred a decsion over Murad Ramazanov, Mukhamed Berkhamov captured a split decision over Ray Cooper III, Enrique Barzola defeated Tyler Diamond by decision, Jose Perez scored a decsion over Jesse Stirn as well. The two finishes of the night belonged to Maxwell Djantou Nana over Kent Manfieleo and Shido BOris against Tyler Hill.
Cris Cyborg makes her Professional Fighters League debut Oct. 19th when she faces Larissa Pacheco for an opportunity at the PFL MMA Chamionship and a record 5th World Title in MMA. Cris Cyborg last defeated Cat Zingano at Bellator 300 and has gone 2-0 competing in professional boxing while waiting for this fight to get booked.
