
Both of Patricio and Patricky Pitbull were no longer happy following the PFL MMA acquisition of Bellator MMA. In light of their most recent releases it has now been made news that Patricky Pitbull has signed with the Global Fight League, and MMA organization that will hold a draft for a team based concept in 2025.
Patricky who has the most knockouts in Bellator MMA history with 11 on his record had an incredible 16-10 run with the promotion including wins over UFC Champion Ben Henderson, Strikeforce Champion Josh Thomson, and upa dnc oming fighter Ryan Couture and Peter Queally before eventually losting his belt to Usman Nurmagomedov.
Participating in the Bellator MMA Vs Rizin FF event, Patrciky has wins over Luiz Gustavo, Tatsuya Kawajiri and Roberto Satoshi the current Rizin FF Light Weight Champion. Friday Jan 24th the PFL is officially set to hold their ‘fighter draft’ which will allocated which athletes represent what teams. The draft will be broadcasted with DAZN.
While PFL MMA recently released Patricio and Patricky from their contracts other athletes such as Patchy Mix and Corey Anderson have been vocal about their inability to get fights made since the merger. Cyborg who waited 13 months before making her PFL MMA debut secured a 5 round decision winning 4 rounds to 1 against Larissa Pacheco who was a 2x PFL MMA Tournament Champion to become the first PFL Women’s Suer Fight Champion.
