The UFC is finalizing the final PPV of 2023 and just added two big fights to the blockbuster UFC 296 event taking place in Las Vegas. English sensation and fan favorite Paddy Pimblett will face former Interim Champion Tony Ferguson in a “passing of the guards” type of matchup. Ferguson who has lost his past 6 consecutive fights in the UFC dating gets the matchup against the surging Paddy Pimblett who has won his last 6 fights including 4 inside of the UFC promotion.
Pimblett who is age 28 and a former Cage Warriors champion will be looking to give Tony “El Cucuy” his 7th consecutive UFC loss which would be a record for the promotion and likely be the end of the 39 year old Ferguson’s UFC run.
Also added to the card is another passing of the torch type of matchup as the 17-0 undefeated Shavkat Rakhmonov 28 years of age looks to defeat 40 year old WonderBoy Stephen Thompson who has lost 2 out of his last 3 fights for a 17-6-1 record in MMA overall.
Headlined by Leon Edwards against Colby Covington UFC 296 inside the T-Mobile Arena on Dec. 16th is going to be a big time event. Fans who are interested in watching CRIS CYBORG’S fight next weekend Oct. 7th in San Diego with #BELLATOR300 can get their tixs HERE.
