One Championship made their USA debut last May and according to Chatri Sityodtong made an announcement that the Singaporean based promotion will be making thei rreturn back to the Unite States.
Chatri appearing on CNBC detailed that the company plans to hold several International events including a return to Qatar, Japan, and the USA on their event schedules for 2024.
When ONE made their US debut on May 5th Demetrious Johnson defeated Adriano Moraes as the main event in Broomfield, Colorado. Chatri did not say which US city they would be making their return to. With Knees to the head inside of the One Championship ruleset One would need to find a commission willing to sanction their non unified rules.
In a posting on LINKN Chatri said
“ONE is on track to hit north of [$100 million] in revenues for 2023 and approximately [$200 million] in revenues for 2024,” he wrote. “Our viewership metrics are up triple digits in terms of percentage growth as our live events have tripled to [approximately] 60 in [2023] vs. [approximately] 20 in 2022. Amazingly, ONE is now broadcast live every week to over 190 countries around the world. Most importantly though, ONE is on track to hit profitability in its core business by the second half of 2024.”
