All of the MMA legends past and present did their best to make it to Huntington Beach, CA in celebration of King’s MMA founder and former Chute Boxe legend Rafael Cordeiro’s 50th birthday celebrations held inside of a private wine bar not far from the legendary Huntington Beach Harbor. Rafael Cordeiro who first moved to the USA in 2009 opened up King’s MMA with one of his first students being UFC contender Babalu Sobral and working with other Athletes from Brazil such as Cris Cyborg, Wanderlia Silva, and Fabricio Werdum.
A former fighter who competed in the historic IVC and Vale Tudo Japan events prior to becoming a coach, Cordeiro has gone on to win MMA instructor of the year twice since moving to the USA.
Foudning King’s MMA in 2010 Rafael Cordeiro who was born in Curitiba Brazil and started martial arts at the age of 13 years old earned his black belt in Muay Thai in only 4 years becoming a champion in Brazil.
It was a great night of friends, family and support all coming together to appreciate Mestre Cordeiro for all that he has done in the community he has built through his legacy as a lifelong martial artist both as a fighter, and an instructor.
