
It has been announced by Dana White that Kayla Harrison is no longer a member of the Professional Fighter’s League roster. A 2x Tournament Champion Kayla Harrison suffered a huge defeat to Brazilian Larissa Pacheco during her last tournament losing in the finals of the 155lbs tournament. Harrison then sat for most of the year before making a return to face former UFC fighter Aspen Ladd at a 150lbs catchweight.
Following the fight, Kayla Harrison grabbed the microphone and challenged Cyborg to a fight, which was accepted by MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion Cris Cyborg for a superfight on the Feb. 24th Saudia Arabia fight card that is PFL X Bellator MMA. Initially Cyborg’s team was told Kayla Harrison was injured and unable to compete, however it was later revealed she will be dropping to the Bantamweight division and facing a 42 year old Holly Holm in her debut.
Harrison who still had 1 remaining bout on her contract, elected to forgo the fight with Cyborg even though Cris Cyborg was willing to fight her just 30 days after her professional boxing fight at WFC 163. It’s official JUDO KAYLA is the biggest Duck in the history of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
