Justine Kish scores upset victory at Bellator 298 over undefeated fighter

Bellator 298 was in Sioux Falls South Dakota over the weekend and it was announced that the event was held in front of a sold out crowd as local Webster South Dakota SDHSAA state champion Logan Storley a former Interim Bellator MMA Champion but his full skill on display in front of the home crowd scoring a 2nd round TKO over the aggressive forward charging Brennan Ward.

The Co Main event saw Valentin Moldavsky score a unanimous decision over Steve Mowry with Aaron Jeffery scoring another upset over unbeaten Dalton Costa. James Gallagher got a close victory by split decision over James Gonzalez while Sidney Outlaw showed his veteran skills against the Islam Mamedov.

proclaiming herself Bellator Barbie, Justine Kish defeated the previously unbeaten Diana Avsaragova via unanimous decision. With a win over Ilema Lei Macfarland who is fighting for the Bellator MMA belt at 125lbs in San Diego could find herself in a title fight if the Hawaiian standout picks up the belt at Bellator 300.

Other performances included Lucas Brennan scoring the KO, Jordan Oliver and Michael Blockhus getting their first MMA wins after strong wrestling careers, Leandro Higo with a come behind guillotine victory, Alfie Davis with a strong decision and Katerina Shakalova with a split decision over Dayana Silva in her promotional debut.
