
Invicta Fighting Championships is the home of premier women’s mixed martial arts MMA fights. Anthem Sports and Entertainment issued a press release formally announcing that Invicta FC had agreed to a US TV rights distribution deal with CBS Sports that would keep Invicta FC on the TV broadcast network for the 2025 season.
Invicta FC and CBS Sports new partnership will start with Invicta FC 60 taking place in Atlanta this Friday Feb. 7th at 7pm ET the card is headlined by former Bellator MMA contender Olga Rubin against Mayra Cantuaira with the winner most likely facing Jennifer Maia of the Chute Boxe academy.
Shannon Knapp founded Invicta FC in 2012 and has become the leading platform for feamle talent during the 13 years of the launch of the organization with legends such as Cris Cyborg, Amanda Nunes, Rose Namajunas, Paige Van Zant, Karate Hottie, and so many others. Carlos Silva the presient of Anthem Sports had this to say, “Following the tremendous response to Invicta FC’s debut on CBS Sports Last summer, both sides were eager to continue the partnership and bring even more world-class MMA action to viewers across the globe.” Cyborg was Invicta FC Champion in the featherweight division following a rematch win over MMA legend Marloes Coenen. Cyborg would defend the belt several times before eventually vacating the championship to allow Megan Anderson to become champion once she left for the UFC.
