
Cris Cyborg gets set to make her return to the sport of Professional Boxing as the Main Event of Rough House Promotions: Green Bay Fight Night
One of the Greatest Female fighters in the history of Combat Sports is making her way to the Midwest for the first time ever as Cris Cyborg gets set to make her return to the sport of Professional Boxing as the Main Event of Rough House Promotions: Green Bay Fight Night taking place in Wisconsin Saturday April 27th.
16x MMA Grand Slam Champion Cris Cyborg last defended her Bellator MMA Championship with a 1st round KO victory over MMA legend Cat Zingano before making a triumphant return to the sport of Boxing where she scored an impressive 82 second KO over the #3 ranked female fighter in the USA Kelsey Wickstrum.
Speaking on her fight, Cyborg had this to say,
“I am excited to continue getting into the Boxing ring and getting more comfortable with being able to compete. I have been doing a lot of training and at my age it is important for me to stay active. If I do not have an MMA fight I want to be Boxing and Saturday April 27th in Green Bay is my next opportunity.”
Currently there is no opponent announced, however tickets have gone on sale.
Cyborg who is currently 2-0 in the sport of Boxing is scheduled for 4 rounds of 2 minutes in the 154lbs weight category where she will be wearing 10 oz gloves. A full night of supporting fight will give fans a great night of combat sports.
