Glover Teixeira Vs Ilir Latifi is a DONE DEAL according to Swedish website

According to Swedish website Kimora Crew the UFC will be matching up Glover Teixeira vs Ilir Latifi at an event coming this summer. Teixeira 38 years old is 2-2 in his last 4 with wins against Misha Cirkunov and Jared Cannonier and losses to Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson. Prior to that he had won 3 in a row with Rashed Evans, Patrick Cummins, and Ovince St. Preux all losing to him.

ILIR has won 5 out of 6 with his last loss coming to Bellator champion Ryan Bader by KO at UFC Fight night 93. Since that time he has picked up wins over Ovince St Preux, Tyson Pedro, Gian Vilante, and Sean O’Connell.

This is an important bout in determining the ranking of the Light Heavyweight division which will see current Champion Daniel Cormier face UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 in Las Vegas for UFC International fight week. There have been some rumors of a Alex Gustafsson Vs. Luke Rockhold fight possibly for an interim title taking place this summer as well.
