Gegard Mousasi X Edwards face-off ahead of Bellator MMA Paris

The backdrop could not get any bigger as former Strikeforce Dream FC Bellator MMA champion Gegard Mousasi faced off against Fabian Edwards in a bout that is to determine who will face Johnny Eblen next. Mousasi who left the UFC as a top 5 middleweight after a 5 fight winning streak to join Bellator MMA in 2017 captured the Middleweight gold against  Rafael Carvalho in 2018 joining Cris Cyborg as the only fighters to win StrikeForce and Bellator MMA Championships.  Fabian Edwards is 11-2 as a pro and the brother of UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards.   Coming off back-to-back victories over Legend Lyoto Machida and fan favorite Charlie Ward this explosive striker will look to stop Mousasi from earning another shot at the belt Johnny Eblen took off him at Bellator 282

As always the prelims will be shown live here on CrisCyborg.Com before fans can make the switch to Showtime Sports in the USA for the main card.  The event is also showcased on COMBATE in Brazil.

The full card features tournament bout Mansour Barnaoui against Fabian Brent Primus and Brazilian Douglas Lima facing tough veteran Costello van Steeenis.  Thibault Goiti will face Kane Mousah and Brazilian paula Cristina will face Denis Kielholtz.

With 15 total bouts the event is tacked with talent including veterans Oliver Enkamp, Saul Rogers, Yves Landu, Piotr Niedzielski,  and more.  Bellator MMA showcased the bouts at a press conference held at the Eiffel Tower one of the most famous landmarks in Paris France.
