
It was heavy news for all of combat sports this week as it was revealed that former UFC Champion and Professional Boxing star crossover Francis Ngannou has lost the life of his 15 month old son. The heartbreaking news was posted on social media Monday when he shared the passing of his son Kobe.
“Shouted his name over and over but he’s not responding.” , “Life is so unfair to hit us where it hurts the most.” Ngannou posted raw emotions which everyone could feel. “How do you deal with such a thing? How can you live with it?” as he shared his rawest emotions with publicly.
Ngannou who recently signed with the PFL was expected to be the main event of a PPV taking place September in Saudi Arabia however those plans do not seem to be a priority given the current state of life. Conor McGregor, Cris Cyborg, Henry Cejudo, and many others reached out with public shows of support during what must be such a difficult time.
