Ray Borg was first scheduled to fight Brandon Moreno at UFC 223 in Brooklyn New York, however during the Conor McGregor assault that occurred in the back of the Barclay’s center he was unable to compete due to injures sustained by the attack.
This week Cyborg Nation reported that Ray Borg’s newborn son had undergone a successful brain surgery, however after initial reports it seems things started to get a bit more complicated, requiring a second surgery. Now that his newborn child has undergone two surgeries, he has finally removed his name from the UFC CHILE fight card.
We ask that Cyborg Nation continues to pray for Ray Borg and his family during this time. At this time it is believed that the UFC is looking for a replacement for Brandon Moreno and that he will still be scheduled to fight UFC Chile, as the promotion makes it’s first trip to the South American country.
