Cris Cyborg is returning from her recent trip to Colombia with a still perfect record in professional boxing as she added 2 Boxing victories to her professional record placing her at 15th in the World as a SuperWelterweight in Women’s professional boxing according to Box Rec.

Cyborg who traveled to Santa Marta for a fight against Karen Fernandez earned a 2nd round KO victory over the 37 year old Colombian.  Visiting BioXcellerator for post stem cell treatments, Cyborg was offered a chance to return to the ring originally against an opponent named Josefina Travcedo ultimately had to  accept a matchup with Valentina Angarita when Travcedo became ill and was unable to compete.

Showcasing superior ring control utilizing a quick and effective jab, Cyborg controlled the boxing match in rounds 1 and 2 largely focusing on her defensive positioning and lead hand attacks with a focus of controlling the mid range.  Setting the pace in round 3 with aggressive shots to the body, Cyborg dropped her opponent at 1:36 of the third round with a perfectly placed upper cut/hook combination to the ribs where Angarita was unable to beat the ref count.

With the victory Cyborg officially improves to 4-0 in Professional Boxing record as a boxer while maintaining her success in MMA having defended the Bellator MMA belt at Bellator 300 and won the PFL MMA Super Fight belt last October defeating 2x PFL tournament champion Larissa Pacheco.  Having won 3 out of 4 of her professional boxing fights by KO/TKO Cris Cyborg has a 75% KO Ratio making her an exciting female boxer.  With the win Cyborg had this to say, “I would love a chance to fight Cecilia Braekhus for the WBC Women’s Boxing Belt”
