Cris Cyborg Championship victory is PFL MMA’s most watched WMMA video of 2024

Cris Cyborg is considered the pound for pound #1 female fighter in the world according to USA Today MMA Junkie, after capturing the PFL Championship belt over Larissa Pacheco as the CO Main event of the PFL Pay Per View series.  Cyborg who had not competed in MMA for 13 months following a victory over Cat Zingano at Bellator 300 put on a tactical performance against an opponent 10 years younger who had won 10 consecutive MMA fights including victories over former champions Julia Budd and Kayla Harrison.  Showcasing great distance control and range management Cyborg utilized effective striking in burst and exceptional wrestling to an over exposed charging Larissa Pacheco to win 49-46 on all three judges scorecards giving the MMA Grand Slam Champion her 5th promotional Championship belt following 5 rounds with a judging score of 4:1.

Cyborg also competed in 2 boxing fights during 2024 where she maintained her perfect record.  Facing the #3 ranked female Boxer in the USA; Kelsey Wickstrum, Cyborg needed less than a minute to score a spectacular KO in front of a sold out Pechanga Casino crowd to get the win.  Traveling to London England for her 2nd Boxing performance, Cyborg scored a 2nd round TKO over Aria Wild as the CO Main Event of the Crypto Fight Night that took place inside the o2 Arena

With a career record of 17-1 in MMA world championship fights, Cris Cyborg is now entering her 19th year of professional fighting and after winning the PFL MMA Championship belt alongside the Bellator MMA, UFC, Invicta FC, and Strikeforce promotions is the only fighter male or female in the history of Mixed Martial Arts to win 5 promotional Championship Belts during their career.  With 2 more fights remaining in her Legacy Tour before retiring from MMA, fans are excited to watch this legend’s final two Professional Fighter League fights.
