Cris Cyborg has long represented Brazil on the International stage during her historic 19 year career in Mixed Martial Arts. Considered the only Grand Slam Champion in MMA after capturing Championship belts with Bellator MMA, UFC, Invicta FC, and Strikeforce; Cris Cyborg after 19 years of competition is the current pound for pound female MMA fighter in the world.
Speaking to the Women’s Brazilian National Soccer, Cris Cyborg discussed mental fortitude as it relates to competition. With only 2 defeats during her historic MMA career, Cyborg shared experiences from her own career with the group before sharing some of the mental exercises she enjoys.
The National team is set to compete in Paris with 12 teams competing in the Women’s football tournament at the 2024 games with three groups of four; as the top two from each group progress alongside the two best third-placed teams in the group.
Brazil will open their group stage against Nigeria July 25th and then will play Japan 3 days later with the group stage ending July 31st against Spain.
