The bout between Bud Crawford and Jeff Horn the was originally scheduled for April 14th inside the Mandalay Bay will now take place June 9th at the MGM Grand. Terrance Crawford has suffered an injury to his hand, not a fracture and no ligament damage, but has caused a delay to the fight.
The bout will feature Terrence Crawford moving up in weight, the former Junior Welterweight will compete at Welterweight to challenge for Jeff Horn’s belt. Crawford won the ESPN fighter of the year in 2017 and is 32-0 with 23 KO’s. The 30 year old fighter from Omaha Nebraska vacated his undisputed Junior Welterweight title after unifying all four of the major 140pound belts.
Now fighting at 147 pounds Bud Crawford will face Jeff Horn a former Olympian who beaten Manny Pacquiao in a very close bout that many fans feel Horn was given the home town decision. Last Dec. Horn beat Gary Corcoran by KO in the 11th round to set up this fight.
