In the “What world do you live in” category of this week’s blog entries we bring you the Twitter Back and forth between MMA’s Only Grand Slam Champion and the self proclaimed “GWOAT”.
Cyborg who was in hard negotiations late last year for a Boxing X MMA superfight against Katie Taylor at a catchweight of 143lbs tweeted out a suggestion of a superfight against Katie Taylor following the Ngannou Vs Fury cross promotion event.
Cyborg went onto accept a cross over fight, saying she would be willing to cross into professional boxing for a fight against Claressa Shields but that it would have to be at her weight of 145lbs, before eventually agreeing on 147lbs.
😂 Claressa is like that 9 year old with a 10th degree black belt showing off their karate medals and telling everyone they can fight…
but then has to explain the rules.
Fine. 147 lbs is the weight class.
Send the contract with your limited rules.

Cyborg who has made millions more during her career than Claressa Shields is a true global icon having fought in Stadiums, PPV, and headlined some of the biggest most prestigious events in the history of mixed martial arts gave Claressa an opportunity to earn “The biggest payday of her career” even willing to move up to Claressa Shield’s desired weight division if the rules allowed for MMA, however Claressa Ducked at that offer instead demanding the champ cross over into her sport, and in addition to age and experience is demanding Cyborg give up weight. Ultimately Cyborg noted she can’t fight Claressa for less money in Boxing than she would make in MMA–something Claressa seemed to acknowledge.
😂 lemme give you the biggest payday of your career.
Put your GWOAT pants on
💎 147 in boxing
Or
💎 whatever open weight you want in MMA🤷🏽♀️ you got two options but I’ll know you’ll pick the third…and just keep taking 😉
