Yesterday on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani Chuck Liddell made his plans to return to fighting public, which has been speculated for weeks. Fans are anxiously anticipating a third showdown between UFC legends and Hall of Famer’s Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz. Fans remember these two pulverizing icons of the game facing each other during the peak of the promotion with Liddell winning both fights against the the Huntington Beach Bad Boy Tito Ortiz.
Liddell went on to say that he would like a handful of tune-up fights and then would love a chance to face UFC pound for pound legend Jon Jones.
Chuck Liddell: “To be honest, in my mind, I’d like to fight two good warm-up fights then I’d like a shot at Jon Jones. I’m serious. I’d like a shot at him.” #themmahour

Liddell who is 48 years of age might not get his shot against Jon Jones anytime soon, as Jones is currently dealing with on going litigation stemming from a failed sample collected by USADA following his victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 which was later overturned into a No Contest when a banned performance enhancing supplement was found in his sample.
Liddell who was one of the most pulverizing icons of the UFC at one point, was given a job as a brand ambassador immediately after retiring, a position he held with the company until the recent WME buyout and merger.
