Cat Zingano has been a main event name in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts for over 15 years, but very few fans know the depth of her story and how inspiring her ability to overcome loss has shown to be.
In her early 20’s and attending college, Cat’s mother was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer passing away in 2005, giving Cat a lot to work through which made focusing no her education difficult. Less than a year after her mother’s loss Cat Zingano was pregnant and raising a newborn while going to school and during a time when she really needed help she found support and resources surrounding her with love.
Finishing school Cat started her MMA career undefeated before suffering the difficult passing of her husband in 2014. Working each and everyday to rebuild and strengthen her life with her son as she adapts and moves forward.
