Bellator 300 adds Jena Bishop X Ilara Joanne to San Diego Oct. 7th fight card

Undefeated flyweight Jena Bishop gets set to step into the Bellator MMA cage for the second time when she faces Ilara Joanne as a featured fight on the undercard of the Bellator MMA 300 fight card taking place October 7th in San Diego at the Pachenga Arena.

A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and an ADCC veteran Jena Bishop owns a close decision victory over Team Cyborg and King’s MMA athlete Dione Barbosa back in 2021 at LFA 118. Picking up Decision win in her Bellator MMA debut against Elina Kallionidou at Bellator 291 Bishop will face Ilara Joanne of Brazil and the Pitbull brothers fight team.

Winner of 2 out of her last 3 fights Ilara Joanne has had 6 fight with the promotion with a .500 record against some of the top flyweights in the division and with over 15 professional fights has only been submitted once.  For Bishop the San Diego native this matchup should serve as a tough test as to her potential in the division against a formidable opponent.
