
Mixed Martial Arts legends do not get much more legendary than Anderson Silva. The Cage Rage Champion and PRIDE FC veteran who went on to become the greatest UFC Middleweight champion of all time before moving on to the sport of Professional Boxing tells MMA Fighting that he is in discussions for a return fight to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in Japan.
Anderson Silva who started his legendary career in Japan was in Miami for the American Black Film Festival as the star of Angus in the film “Murder City” said that he is working on a few film project but that he is already in discussions for a final MMA fight once those projects are finished.
Silva who started his MMA career 4-1 has stated that he would be interested in a rematch with Hayato Sakurai who captured the Shooto Middleweight title after defeating Anderson Silva in 2001. For the time Anderson would not reveal which promotion he would be competing for although fans could hope for a reunion with former PRIDE head Nouyuki Sakakibara who is now the head of Rizin FF.
